Kigali — Amavubi's friendly against neighbors DR. Congo hangs in a balance, Times Sport can reveal.Reports indicate that DR. Congo is yet to make a confirmation on the date of the friendly, which also happens to be Amavubi's final build-up ahead of next month's crunch 2010 World/African Nations Cup qualifiers against Egypt.

"We are yet to get a confirmation from DR Congo," Ferwafa's Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa said. Meanwhile, Amavubi's Croat Coach Tucak Branko has summoned a 24-man squad to start preparations.

Atraco's pair of Aloua Gaseruka and Jean Shyaka has been overlooked while APR's Jean Mugiraneza 'Migi' is included after missing last week's friendly against Tanzania due to a knee injury. Other new faces in the side include Mukura's duo of Daddy Biriro and Hussein Mbanze.

Branko's underperforming team need to win against Egypt to start dreaming of an appearance at next year's Africa Nations Cup finals in Angola. After managing a point from a possible nine, the team is placed at the bottom of their Group (C). Egypt beats Zambia to second spot in Group C; both have four points, three behind leaders Algeria.
