Dear Friends,
On Monday, November 2, Jewish World Watch Co-Founder and President Janice Kamenir-Reznik left LA leading a small group on a 10-day fact-finding mission to the Democratic Republic of Congo. This is an extremely rare opportunity and we invite you to be a part of this journey through the DRC, home to the bloodiest war since WWII with over 5.4 million people killed in the last 13 years. Through the JWW website, Twitter and Facebook, you can follow Janice, Naama, John, Diana and Mike as they make their way through Rwanda and cross the border into the Congo. You will be able to see pictures, watch video, and read stories of the people they meet and the projects and places they visit.
You can also join us on a conference call with the team direct from Congo, on Tuesday, November 10 at 12:00noon PST. Dial in: (218) 339-2699. Access Code 134921#.
We want as many people as possible to join us on this journey as we launch the Jewish World Watch “Congo Now!” campaign, so please share this information with your friends and family. If a post or picture moves you, send it on or post it to Facebook or Twitter! Help us raise awareness of the ongoing conflict in Congo and the vital work of JWW.
Thank you for not standing idly by.
Tzivia Schwartz Getzug
JWW Executive Director
